Casted in solid brass using sand molds, these ball shaped incense holders feature two different sized openings on opposite ends for placing incense with varying widths. The sphere can be rotated on the ring base to hold the incense at different angles. Finished with no plating, the brass will naturally patina over time. These incense holders are handmade by artisans of SUMITANI SABURO SHOTEN, a metal crafting foundry based in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. The city renowned as the origin for metal casting with a history of over 400 years, SUMITANI SABURO SHOTEN has been manufacturing metal crafts inheriting traditional techniques and processes since its establishment in 1939.
