Made of mosquito net "Kaya" fabric by OKAI MAFU SHOTEN, a family-owned company founded in 1863 and now in its fifth generation specializing in "Nara-Zarashi" linen textiles. Highly absorbent and quick to dry, Kaya fabric were traditionally used to make clothes for samurai and monks. Handwoven in Nara Prefecture, Japan using 100% hemp, these dish towels are naturally antibacterial, lint-free, and highly resistant to mildew.
