Since its first invention in 1907, KAMENOKO TAWASHI has remained unchanged, produced using the same process and techniques for over 100 years. Made of carefully selected palm fibers that are bundled evenly and densely, this traditional tawashi brush is tough and durable but gentle enough for cleaning various surfaces. It has long been a staple in the Japanese household and is used for cleaning everything from vegetables, cutting boards, colanders, cast iron pans, to tiles in the bathroom.
