Designed by Sori Yanagi, a Japanese industrial designer renowned for his simple and practical products ranging from furniture to kitchenware. As the son of the founder of the Mingei movement, Sori's designs were drawn from the aesthetics of Japanese folk crafts; finding beauty in the everyday objects made by unknown artists, focusing on using natural and local resources, traditional techniques and methods, and handmade production. Produced in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan, a small town known for cutlery and steel manufacturing, the milk pan is made of highly durable 18-8 stainless steel that is thin, lightweight, and easy to clean. The knob on the lid and the handle on the pan are made of phenolic resin that does not get hot and is easy to grip. From boiling vegetables to making a batch of sauce or jam, this milk pan is versatile to cover a wide range of tasks in the kitchen. The double-sided spouts make it easy to use for left-handed users, and is designed to cut the pours cleanly without dripping. The lid can be rotated to adjust the size of the opening, allowing steam to escape and prevent overspills. It makes draining water without a strainer possible and stress-free. Features a matte finish that make stains and scratches less visible.
