- Season the pan before first use - rinse the pan with warm water and dry completely, spread a thin layer of cooking oil and place over medium fire for a few minutes
- After use, hand wash with warm water using a tawashi cleaning brush or a soft sponge (using dish soap is not recommended as it removes the oil coating) and dry completely
- Apply a thin layer of cooking oil to the pan and wipe thoroughly with a paper towel to help prevent rusting
- Do not soak in water for long periods of time
