Designed by Masanori Masuda and made in Yamagata Prefecture of Japan, Yamagata cast iron originated around 950 years ago and was designated as a traditional craft in 1974. The surfaces are finished with lacquer and the feet come with rubber coverings to prevent tables and countertops from scratches. Suitable for medium to large pans, pots, and kettles.
